EMPOWERING GENDER EQUALITY: TRANSFORMING PERSPECTIVES IN PAKISTAN

Khuddi Research and Development, we recognize the urgent need to address gender disparities and empower individuals of all genders to lead fulfilling, equitable lives. Our mission is to challenge societal norms, promote inclusivity, and drive positive change to create a more gender-equal Pakistan.

Challenges Facing Gender Equality in Pakistan

Pakistan faces significant challenges in achieving gender equality, including:

  1. Gender-Based Violence: Women and girls often face various forms of gender-based violence, including domestic violence, sexual harassment, and early and forced marriages.
  2. Limited Economic Opportunities: Women and girls have fewer opportunities for education, employment, and economic participation, limiting their ability to achieve financial independence and social empowerment.
  3. Lack of Political Representation: Women are underrepresented in political leadership and decision-making roles, hindering their ability to advocate for their rights and influence policy outcomes.
  4. Cultural and Social Norms: Deep-rooted gender stereotypes and patriarchal attitudes perpetuate inequalities and restrict the rights and freedoms of women and girls in Pakistani society.
